We moms all know our kid’s, or in my case grand-kids, love helping to decorate for Halloween. And one of the great things about Halloween is that you can decorate both indoor and outdoors without sticking it to your bank account. So if your looking to decorate without shrieking in terror with sticker shock then you’ve come to the right place. Construction paper and card stock are both fairly inexpensive and can be used to make simple and cheap Halloween window decorations. A quick search on my favorite resource, Pinterest, found several free downloads for Halloween window silhouette patterns.
Don’t throw away those milk jugs! Recycle them into adorable luminaries call spirit jugs – creating a ghost-lit walkway that your trick-or-treaters are sure to love. I imagine you could also make these into pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns using orange lights. TIP: You could easily use battery operated tea lights for these instead of a strand of lights. AND if you don’t have milk jugs you could paint tin cans or even use paper bags to make your luminaries.
