So maybe it was a mistake but we bought Truvia instead of Stevia this time. We realized the Stevia we’ve been buying had Maltodextrin so we knew we needed to get away from it. So imagine my surprise when I logged today’s coffee and found out my one 12 oz mug was now 12g carbs compared to the big fat ZERO I’ve gotten used too. It’s just a good thing I logged it early enough to stop myself from having the second cup I’d already fixed and had sitting right here in front of me.
This last week or so I’ve noticed the scales has been bouncing up and down between 2-3 pounds for me. Now common sense is telling it must be water weight simple because my calorie intake is so much lower than what it was that it’s impossible for me to have actually gained 2-3 pounds of fat. Knowing that, made this article “How to Break a Weight Loss Stall on the Ketogenic Diet” a bit
I was exploring the Cave Man Keto website, earlier today and saw this recipe for Strawberry Ice Cream. I guess it stuck with me because even though I feel like I’d gone over in macros today I just couldn’t stop myself from making this after dinner. I usually prefer chocolate not strawberry ice cream but we have strawberries in the freezer and haven’t a bar of chocolate in the house unless you count unsweet baking cocoa. I was I such a hurry I didn’t even put it in the freezer to freeze up properly we ate it soft, and ate too much of it (two servings).
Food Log – Day Twenty Nine
I had a very expensive, carb wise, cup of Bullet Proof Coffee for Breakfast.
For Lunch we had leftover Meatza. I really want to try this again but with chicken next time. I would add white sauce, bacon, tomatoes, and mushrooms.
We made this recipe Crock Pot Taco Soup for Dinner. It was VERY good, it made about 12 cups of soup and was very filling with serving size being 1 1/2 cups. I added some sour cream and jalapenos to mine, oh my .. We had enough to make about 4 meals so this would be a really good one to make and freeze portions for later in the month.
